Tehron Lathan

Our owner

Twenty-four years in uniform and at sea, and a lifelong habit of noticing what people are wearing.

The short version

A Marine, then twenty years at sea, then this

Tehron served four years in the Marine Corps. He then spent two decades in the Merchant Marine, the civilian fleet that keeps cargo moving whether or not anyone is watching. Long contracts, long way from home, and a lot of ports.

Ports are good for one thing besides work: you see what people wear everywhere. He came home with an eye for it and a list of pieces that were almost impossible to find in Suffolk at a price anyone would pay.

Vet Kicks is the fix for that. Name brands, hard-to-find style pieces, reasonable money, and a straight answer about what you are buying.

Honor

We tell you what a piece is and what it is not. If something has a flaw we photograph the flaw. No surprises when the box opens.

Courage

Turning down stock costs money. We do it anyway when a shipment does not check out, because the alternative is selling someone a fake.

Commitment

Twenty years of contracts teaches you to finish what you start. If something goes wrong with an order, it gets fixed, not explained away.

Still local

Suffolk, and staying there

The shop runs out of Suffolk and most of our pop-ups are inside the 757. If you are local you can usually collect in person instead of paying for shipping. Just ask when you order.
